Courtney and Joey have done a little traveling and so it was fitting that we had a Hawk Mountain engagement session, where we had some STUNNING views (even with all of the Canadian smoke floating back into the area). Courtney wore a dress she bought in Spain and the two looked just perfect! I always love a couple willing to be a little adventurous and I will take any excuse to photograph a couple in the mountains. I am so excited to celebrate with them in 2024!

Engagement sessions can take place either at the studio or at an outdoor location. Most couple choose the outdoors for it’s beautiful scenery. I love the outdoors and this Hawk Mountain engagement session was a particularly lovely choice! It was my first time visiting for a session and I was pleasantly surprised by the short hike. It was no more than a 5 minute walk to get to the first stunning overlook on the trail. That is always something to consider when you are planning an engagement session in places similar to this.
