Recently, I was listening to a podcast where they said something that struck me to the heart. "We are the most photographed generation, but will be the most forgotten." What they were talking about is that while we are always taking photographs, we rarely print them. Our children often will not have albums to comb through when they're older. Their children won't either. With how quickly technology changes, will we be able to access those photographs stashed away on our hard drives or the cloud in a couple decades?
Imagine a future where you made the choice to print your memories in either an album or for your walls. Your children and their children can hold their family's history in their hands. What a valuable gift.
Welcoming a new baby into the family is one of the most exciting moments of your life. That new little person will hold your heart in so many ways. My goal is to preserve the beauty of your motherhood. Come and join me in making beautiful portraiture of your precious memories, whether you are expecting, have just welcomed your new baby, or are in the midst of the little years.
Each session includes access to the Studio Illume client closet. Book your session for a $300 session fee, which will be deducted from your collection choice. Clients can expect to invest $1550 - $5400 on their experience with heirlooms included.

Upon filling out the form and submitting information about your session, you will receive a response with all the details about the collections that I offer, which include digitals, prints, framed prints, and heirloom albums. Please keep in mind that your session fee of $300 will be deducted from the total collection investment.

Once you have booked with a signed contract and session fee paid, we will set up a phone consultation. This is where we discuss your hopes for your session and what's most important to you. We can discuss how best to achieve the photographs, whether that includes a hand-painted fine art backdrop, flowers, greenery, etc.

Once we have discussed your dreams for your photographs and any preferences, it is time to focus on the details. What should your wardrobe look like? Will your session be at the studio or will we meet at an outdoor location? We can collaborate to create a Pinterest board in order to convey the any specifics. At this time we can also schedule an appointment to view and try on the studio client closet.

Before your session, you will receive a planning guide with helpful tips in preparing for your session. For example, I will explain ways to help your toddler open up during their time in front of the camera. During your session, focus on your sweet family and allow yourself to have fun. I will direct any posing and prompt you to achieve beautiful photographs.
your session
After your session, we will schedule a time to reveal your gallery and make a decision about how you want to preserve your memories, whether through digitals, wall art, or an album. This meeting can be either virtually through Zoom or in person at the studio.

Once we have decided how best to preserve your memories, the order will be finalized and purchased. Turnaround time depends on what type of product was purchased. Every collection will include your digital photographs.
