With the motherhood event coming up so soon in April, I thought it was a good time to share some recent photographs I took of this momma with her littles. I wanted to photograph a bonnet that I handmade for the client closet, so I asked Faith to meet me at the studio that morning for a short milestone session. It was completely last minute, but it worked out! I am so pleased with how sweet the bonnet looks on little Lu. If I’m being honest, this whole family is just so darling. How adorable are these kiddos’ big blue eyes?

When I started in the photography industry over a decade ago, I never expected to end up as a family photographer, photographing maternity, newborn and milestone sessions in a Lancaster studio (I’m a NJ native!). I started photographing weddings (which admittedly, I still love) and I was perfectly content making weddings my niche. I loved the excitement of the day, the beautiful commitment that the couple was making to each other, the beautiful places, gowns, and flowers. Weddings are a lot of work, but were so easy to love for me.

Then enters my role as a mom. My amazing little boys changed absolutely everything for me. I no longer only want to photograph weddings, but also the moments as a mom that I have grown to cherish within my own life. When I can add flowers for styling, which are another passion of mine, it is even better. There is so much beauty that life has to offer and it is all a gift. Why not hold onto it in the form of photographs? It’s my joy to help you do that.
