First Birthday Session | Elizabeth

THIS GIRL. Oh, my. This baby girl, Elizabeth, turned one and was nothing but smiles about it! I loved her adorable curly locks and joyful personality during her first birthday session! Just look at her sweet smile! Happy birthday, Elizabeth!! I love photographing her clap her hands, crawl around and do all the cute things one year olds do. Hopefully her birthday was nothing but perfect!

For her first birthday session, her mom chose to use a soft pink hand-painted fine art backdrop. The backdrop has a painted texture to it and swirls of pinks around. I personally love using these, because they give a little more texture to the background of sessions. For the cake smash, we used the studio high chair (which has since been updated to a new white one with a vintage look). This particular session did not use the client closet, but instead bought some absolutely adorable clothes from Jamie Kay‘s line. I definitely thought about (and still might) buy a few pieces to add to the closet myself!
