Each year since the opening of my motherhood studio in Lancaster, PA (lovingly called Studio Illume), I have hosted floral sessions each year in honor of Mother’s day. I decided this year would be a little bit different. I decided that I would take on the floral design myself (when in the past, I have trusted Lavender and Locks Flower Farm and Forte Florals, who both did a PHENOMENAL job). It was SO much fun putting together this floral backdrop! I loved how it turned out. It was a TON of work, though! Next year, we will see if I try my hand at it again or if I hire one of the many talented local floral designers.

I saw some familiar faces during the Motherhood Studio Event this year, but also some new ones! Some of the most lovely mommas (some with their little one still on the inside) came out to be photographed. Each momma, along with her littles up to 2T, was given access to the client closet and had a 20 minute session. What whirlwind! These beautiful families were so nice to work with and totally made my job a breeze! I love these sessions and I hope to do them annually for the foreseeable future!
