Creating these floral flat lays was so life-giving! Last year with COVID happening, you can imagine that it was QUITE the bummer to have several of my weddings postponed and a couple cancelled. There was not much to photograph during what would usually be the peak time. In order to stave off the boredom, I recruited Diane from Lavender and Locks Flower Farm and Ashley from RSVP Love to collaborate on a project. With their absolutely stunning work, we ended up with some really lovely photographs of floral flat lays. This year Diane asked me if we could do it again and so I said, ‘UH YES! On my way to the farm now.’ But in all seriousness, I was thrilled to photograph her blooms and Ashley’s beautiful stationary again. There is SO much talent in the Lancaster county area and these two are prime examples!
If you are unaware, flay lays are made to photograph your invitation suite, jewelry, rings, and whatever other sentimental details you have chosen for your wedding day. Each bride spends so much time putting thought and effort into these details. It is important to make sure they end up being photographed! Plus, putting them all together is just pretty, anyways. I love photographing them!
